Asus Launches World's Thinnest Net Book

ASUS launched its latest product, the ASUS Eee PC X101. Net book this latest series netbooks claimed as the thinnest and lightest in the world with a thickness of 14.5 mm and weighs 920 grams and 10-inch screen.

Net book uses the latest Intel Atom processor with 1 GB RAM, 2 USB 2.0 port, microSD slot, integrated webcam and 8GB SSD. Net book comes with MeeGo operating system that was developed by Intel. With this latest product, Asus social networker to target a market that does have a need to access the internet or social networking. "This Netbook is also on target for multi media enjoyers who likes to access the computer with a bigger screen." Melton said.

Asus Eee Pc also provide a variety of cloud-based services such as @ vibe asus, asus AppStore and online dropbox file storage. "With the dropbox can store files online and secure," said Melton.

Now, Asus is recorded in the top three in Indonesia for sale note book category. Based on IDC's report, in the second quarter 2011, Asus market share of 15.3%, up from last year that only 10%.
