Ahead of the summer transfer window closed, Benayoun transported from Chelsea to Arsenal in the status of the player on loan for one season.

"He has to give the best every time you play and we think he had fused with both - he can play on either wing. He can play in the middle, although I think he prefers to play on the wing," he continued.
"In general, he has demonstrated on Tuesday night he was really physically fit."
Benayoun will be back in action for Arsenal when a visit to Ewood Park on Saturday (17 / 9) to face Rovers Blackbun.
