This tennis Claiming Lesbian

Being gay or lesbian is a choice, and increasingly the day the option is a trend that more intense. Evidenced by the increasing number of countries that allow same-sex marriage. And most recently, of course New York.

Well, I do not intend to provoke a polemic, be whether same-sex marriage. I want to share here is a fact, the case of gays and lesbians many of us encounter in various professions, including tennis profesional.Ada an interesting phenomenon, that in the tennis world, women are more prominent in the open about their sexual orientation that deviates, in other words more lesbians can actualize their identity in public. This paper is designed to convey the message that being different is not it can not be accomplished.

Some of the world's top tennis player who has openly admitted having a different sexual orientation, should have recognized outstanding achievements. Who are they? check it out ...

1. Gigi Fernandez
Players born February 22, 1964, in San Juan, Puerto Rico is famous as a tennis doubles specialist. Throughout her career Ms. Fernandez has collected 17 women's doubles title ditamabh grand slam with two Olympic gold medals. A year after deciding to retire, Fernandez met with Jane Geddes who was four years older than him. The couple has two twins.




2. Billie Jean King
Who does not know Billie Jean King? United States tennis player born 22 November 1943 it never makes a scene when successful tennis world by beating Bobby Rigs son in "The Battle os Sexes' in 1973. King had married a man named Lawrence King in 1965. The couple separated in 1987. during the marriage to Lawrence King started her intimate relationship with a woman, Marilyn Bannet.




3. Amelie Mauresmo
This French-born tennis player born on 5 July 1979. Mauresmo managed to collect two titles that make it grand Salm world No. 1 tennis player in mid-September 2004. He claimed gay shortly after defeating Lindsay Davenport in Australian Open 1999.



4. Martina Navratilova
Tennis legend was born on October 18, 1956 in Prague, Czech. Navratilova is a versatile player. A variety of championship titles he collected from both successful singles, women's doubles and mixed doubles. Nothing wrong if he was hailed as one of the legends of tennis has ever seen. Navratilova emigrated to America in 1981. Shortly after officially became a U.S. citizen, he was revealed to the public about his attraction to other women.





5.Rennae Stubbs
Born on March 26, 1971 in Sidney and is the world's No. 1 player in women's doubles paired with Lisa Raymond of the United States. Four grand slam titles he had gathered together with Raymond. I was so close to Raymond Stubbs, rumors emerged. Intimate partner relationships not only in the knitting field, but also in bed.



The five female tennis players have been openly acknowledged above, it would be against same-sex attraction. Beyond that a number of rumors that circulated among his fellow players, there are a lot of names that allegedly having sexual orientation to others, such as Conchita Martinez, Jana Novotna, Lisa Raymond, and Hanna Mandlikova.
